Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Inverse4D ("the platform"), operated at inverse4d.com, including the website, NFC business cards, and all related services. By using the platform or activating an NFC card, you agree to these terms.
1. What Inverse4D Is
Inverse4D is a digital business card platform. We provide NFC-enabled physical cards and a web-based profile and dashboard system. When someone taps your card with their phone, they see your profile — your name, links, services, and booking option. You manage everything from your dashboard at inverse4d.com.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We hash passwords but cannot recover them — only reset them.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has approved your use.
- One account per person unless authorized by us for business use.
3. Your Content
You own the content you upload (photos, bio, links, service listings). By uploading it, you grant us a license to display it publicly on your profile page and in connection with operating the platform. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You agree not to upload content that is:
- Illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive.
- Infringing on someone else's intellectual property.
- Sexually explicit, violent, or harassing.
- Malware, spam, or phishing content.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.
4. NFC Cards (Physical Product)
- NFC cards are physical products. Once shipped, they are non-refundable unless they arrive defective or damaged.
- If your card arrives defective (NFC chip not working, physical damage during shipping), contact us within 14 days for a replacement.
- Cards contain a single URL programmed to our servers. The card itself stores no personal data.
- Cards are designed for normal use (wallet, keychain, handoff). We do not warranty against damage from intentional misuse, extreme conditions, or modifications.
- If your card is lost or stolen, contact us to deactivate it. We can issue a replacement card (additional cost may apply).
- NFC functionality depends on the recipient's phone hardware and settings. We cannot guarantee NFC works on all devices.
5. Booking Feature
The booking feature connects your clients with you. It is a request system, not a confirmed appointment system — you approve or decline each request.
- Inverse4D is not a party to any transaction or service between you and your clients.
- We are not responsible for no-shows, disputes, quality of service, or any issues between you and your clients.
- Booking notification emails are sent as a convenience. We do not guarantee email delivery.
6. Payments (When Enabled)
When payment processing is available on the platform:
- Payments will be processed through Stripe. Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy apply to all transactions.
- We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- Card purchase prices are listed on our website at the time of purchase and may change.
- Platform subscription fees, if introduced, will be communicated in advance.
7. Analytics and Data
Your dashboard displays analytics about your profile (tap counts, sources, device types, booking rates). This data is derived from visitor interactions with your profile. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that analytics are perfectly precise. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection.
8. What You Can't Do
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
- Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the platform without permission.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or admin systems.
- Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the platform's code or design.
- Resell NFC cards as your own product without authorization.
- Impersonate another person or business on your profile.
9. Our Rights
- We can modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.
- We can suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms.
- We can remove content that violates these terms without notice.
- We own the platform, its design, code, branding, and all related intellectual property. Your use of the platform does not grant you any ownership rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Inverse4D is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost clients, or business interruption.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- We are not responsible for the actions of your clients, the performance of third-party services (Stripe, email providers, phone manufacturers), or NFC compatibility with specific devices.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold Inverse4D harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform, your content, your interactions with clients, or your violation of these terms.
12. Termination
- You can stop using the platform at any time. To delete your account and data, contact us.
- We can terminate your account for any reason with 30 days notice, or immediately for violation of these terms.
- Upon termination, your profile is removed, your NFC card stops routing to your profile (shows a generic page), and your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
13. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada. You agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us before pursuing legal action.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you via email or dashboard notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
